James Hastings loved Christopher Nolan & Hans Zimmer, and gave a number of reference tracks including “Safe Now” from the “Captain Phillips” soundtrack. So I thought I’d have a go at a minimal-melody track with a high string/synth opening plus moody piano chords. Luckily James was really happy with the result.
